I'm (hopefully) going to hear Danzig in Philly on Tuesday and more than a little bit excited about it. I saw Danzig only once before, just last year, and it was absolutely amazing. I can't believe how well that guy's voice has survived over the years; he still sounds like he did when he was singing for the Misfits and when the first Danzig album was recorded.
i like mainly foreign music. for instance a lot of japanese J-rock styles such as Lazy Knack. I enjoy System of a down, classical music and some up-beat pop. I'm very general when it comes to music so I don't choose any favorites ^_^
I'm in agreement with the talking cat on this one.. to a degree...
I don't go out of my way to listen to country music, but I do always respect the fact that someone put their heart into it's creation. I may not agree with gangster rap, but again the same.
I also agree with Ms. uh~Neat~uh, I'm a lover of the more genre defying electronic variants, usually of a calmer flavor, but am also known to throw on some DK or Billy Bragg, Bad Religion, System of a Down, Tool, Danzig (the Elvis of punk rock, can I get an AMEN) The Violent Femmes (who I was blessed to have seen live a couple years back) Gogol Bordello, Radiohead and Modest Mouse as well, etc etc etc. There are too many gifted artists in the world to name all those I love.
Oh! but this thread reminded me!
I meant to introduce Itchdom to The Bastard Fairies!

Anyhow, back to the topic at hand..
I love music. period.
Sorrow is an awesome track, definitely one of my favs..
I also love American Jesus and Atomic Garden by BR.
From Radiohead.. well that's a long list :)
Radiohead's newer works that delve more into the electronic side are AWESOME.
Kid A is an incredible album all over. It's rare I find an album that I like more songs than not.
Kid A is definitely one of the magic few. Also Thom Yorke's - The Eraser - is one that immediately grabbed my attention and my heart as well.
If you're into that sort of thing, might I also suggest, The Flashbulb, if you're not already aware of his work. Benn Jordan plays under a few different names, but his Flashbulb creations are my favourite. If you check my profile, one track is there of his, called Pine Ridge, SD. It's a 2 minute piece off the album Soundtrack to a Vacant Life and I must admit that is another of the rare few that I love more tracks than not. This particular album is truly set in the Soundtrack fashion and is the perfect rainy day, hot bath addition.
