If you follow any religion then tell about it, for instance i am a Buddhist i believe that their way of peace is a better way of life. Buddhism involves peaceful thought, meditation, pro-activity and attempts to rid its followers of the lust for power and that ever persistent greed.
Totally. My brother believes the same thing. However he sort of found that thing... It's kinda confusing. Here if you wanna talk to him he's on here. He'll explain it better. He's Never.
Religion plays no part in my life. I sometimes wonder, and I sometimes hope that there is some meaning to all this chaos we call existence. But, in all my years of being atheist (by the root definition of the word, something along the lines of "without religion" not neccisarily implying a denial of some deity, just a lack of concern about any possible deity) I've never been at a loss about the meaning of life: There is no "meaning of life", it's up to you to give your life meaning.
Be cool to people. Try not to be a dick. And always remember: No good deed goes unpunished. Be prepared for back biting, back stabbing and all around douchebaggery when you choose to try to live a life, or just do a deed, to help your fellow man. You'll be less disappointed and bounce back quicker.

agnostic theist, i believe in "God" but dont think is like the christian, muslim or jewish God. I dont know what he is, what he looks like, how he feels, etc. I just feel that if u do good in this life then everything will be ok in the next life. I do not believe in sins unless it harms others.
As a student of science, I can only believe what I can observe in a repeatable, controlled manner. The law of conservation of energy states that energy is not created or destroyed, but changes form. So what does that mean for our consciousness when we die? It really depends on what our consciousness really is. If it's a form of energy, the possibilities are endless. But at least the possibility of it just ending are non-existent. I imagine it will be much like before our conception. I personally can't remember.
I am an atheist. Many rational people are. I don't know what happens after we die. I have never died before, so I couldn't possibly know. Anyone who claims to know is just making it up. They are no more capable of knowing than you are. Religion was created during a time when people started asking big questions. Society had not developed the concept of modesty, so rather than saying "I don't know", they just made this shit up.
I love life with a passion that I am unable to compare to anything else. I don't need a heaven. We're in heaven. Belief in an afterlife trivializes the life that one already has.
The world needs more atheists. Humans as a species have evolved beyond the need for superstition. We no longer burn witches or torture jews. We no longer treat wounds with holy water. We don't believe that the world is flat. So why do we still believe that the world was created in seven days by an invisible man who lives in the sky? Religion is unnecessary, and it is destroying us. Ironically, the same "prophecies" that predict the end of the world are slowly but surely bringing this world closer to complete destruction.
I would like to see the end of organized religion. I would like to see people who are enslaved by superstition set free.
