BIO:
Stefan Dixon has been a name recognised in the South African music industry as one of the finest musicians in the acoustic genre.Originally from Cape Town, Dixon launched his career by playing his first gig back in 2002 as support act for Henry Ate. No less than a year later Dixon has played his first major festival, the Oppikoppi Easter Show with great response from the audience. Stefan Dixon has since played alongside South African musical legends such as Tidal Waves, Delta Blue and Laurie Levine, but a highlight for Dixon was collaborating with Jacob Wulana (Tidal Waves frontman), to play a number of gigs and their most memorable set at the Oppikoppi Wired festival in 2005.
Dixon has just finalised recording his first, much anticipated album,at Dockyard Studios. He is currently busy promoting his album with several gigs around the country and abroad.Stefan has just returned from a very well received tour of Belgium and will be returning to Europe in 2009.
